Somehow failing our way to self-sufficiency

This is the homestead life we dreamed of (more or less…)

We're ACTUALLY becoming more self-sufficient?

It never QUITE goes how we imagine…

Smarter or harder? Irish summer on the homestead

This is why we kept going

PLUS trying to save this harvest! 😅

REALITY of building a self-sufficient life… (well, trying to)

Trying our best… despite it all

Spring was supposed to change everything…

We've been living like THIS since November…?

The cottage FINALLY has a working kitchen & HUGE new homestead project begins…

Some now…some in 10 years?? EXPANDING our homestead

The inspection FINALLY happened… after everything

TRYING to tame the wild edges of our old Irish cottage
