Spent Scotland’s longest, darkest night. One of the questions people ask me most is the change in daylight hours in Scotland.
Some countries don’t have such a difference in daylight hours between summer and winter, but in Scotland we have around 17 hours of darkness on the longest night of the year!
Compared to the shortest night of the year (June), the hours of darkness are only about 6 hours.
